Lemou Bafou USA seeks to improve lives of people of the Bafou ethnic group living in the United States and also those living in Bafou village, Cameroon.

 

In the United States our mission is to:

 

  Aid and encourage members to maintain Bafou culture while still learning to take advantage of opportunities offered by life in the United States, and while respecting U.S. laws and customs.

 

  Use our monthly meeting to promote the Bafou philosophical, social and cultural heritage amongst our members. One of our main goals is to pass Bafou culture to our children and to future generations.

 

  Use our meeting as a forum of sharing information so that any members can learn from others. We also use the advantage given by our heritage to financially empower our members by enabling them to be part of the rotating savings and credit fund, where they can invest or borrow money.

 

  Assist any new member in the United States by providing them with information so they can make informed decisions as far as immigration procedures, integration into the USA, job searches, investment opportunities, retirement, education, scholarships, etc.

 

In Bafou village::

 

One of our top missions is to support people living in Bafou today; our aid is directed to areas such as education, health, and improvement of existing infrastructure.

 

In collaboration with other organizations based in Bafou, we promote projects helping to improve the lives of the Bafou ethnic group in Cameroon.

 

We are also seeking to assist Bafou kings to make a significant improvement in the lives of Bafou people.
